There’s no better way to take in the beauty of the Philippines than from this 200-metre-high glass platform.

The incredible view of the Wahig River from the glass platform

If heights don’t break you out in a cold sweat, then incredible views await you as you move along this see-through walkway to capture unforgettable sights.

Danao Adventure Park – where is it?

The full address for Danao Adventure Park is Buenavista-Carmen-Danao-Jetafe Road, Danao, 6344 Bohol, the Philippines. It’s a popular spot for those looking to bank some breathtaking views of the landscape and the Wahig River. But it’s not easy to get to… you’ll have to build up some courage before reaching the podium itself because the only way to reach it is to zip-line across a gorge.

Danao Adventure Park’s Glass Cliff Walk – is it safe?

Harnessed up to a rail situated above the podium structure, the Danao Glass Cliff Walk is as safe as it can be. You’re left with an open-edged podium walkway to explore, so though the rope harness does provide some insurance, the drop is still sheer.

The podium platform consists of eight tempered glass panels that allow you to peer down at the Wahig River almost 220m (722ft) below. It’s see-through, allowing for a wonderful, unobstructed view of the surrounding area, which will leave you feeling like you’re floating on air.

Danao Adventure Park – what else is on offer?

The Philippines is known for its majestic scenery, and the journey to the park gives you lots of opportunity to take in some of the lush greenery surrounding the area. The glass cliff walk allows you to see these sights from above, but there’s also lots of other activities to enjoy here, including caving, rappelling, kayaking and a high-adrenaline pendulum swing if you’re brave enough.
