3. Seng Phet Restaurant

Seng Phet is a perfect lunch spot after a morning of visiting caves. This sprawling Lao eatery is accessible in the dry season by a network of bamboo pedestrian bridges and not far from a motorbike bridge that’s accessible all year. Families with young children will enjoy the playground in the back and the karst backdrop. Down the banks of the Nam Song are covered tables in the water and gliders where guests can dip their feet.
