Surrounded by historical and cultural landmarks, and brimming with upmarket boutiques, lively bars and urban restaurants, Khan Market is one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Delhi. One of the best features of this neighbourhood is its cafes. Whether you are looking for a relaxing cup of coffee or are hankering for a sumptuous meal, the cafes here have it all. Here’s our pick of the best.

Situated in the heart of the lively Khan Market, the SodaBottleOpenerWala is a well-established Bombay Irani café-restaurant, complete with an outdoor balcony and a bar that is known to fill up with patrons every day of the week. The main feature of the café is its menu replete with Parsi specialities. Their Mutton Berry Pulao, Dhanshak and Jardaloo Ma Tarkari (Parsi-style vegetable curry) are particularly worthy of attention. Paired with stick chai and old-world grace, this café is much more than a culinary experience – and certainly one not to be missed.
