The TV show Friends was a worldwide phenomenon – Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe and Joey – the characters of this groundbreaking sitcom found their way into the hearts of many around the world. Friends fans in Pune rejoice as there is a café dedicated to your favourite sitcom, FRNDS Cafe. It looks like it came straight out of the show with its orange couch, purple door, brick walls, olive green Central Perk sign and Monica’s kitchen lookalike. You can even dine in the Monica’s kitchen itself.

The walls are embellished with all things Friends, from quotes and one-liners from the series to the posters of the characters along with the theme song etched underneath it I’ll be there for you – the sight of all this will leave the fan in you jumping for joy. With great attention to the aesthetics, this cafe perfectly recreates the setting and vibe of the show and allows the patrons to relive their favourite Friends moments and feel like one of the characters. The icing on the cake is its delectable and reasonably priced multi-cuisine menu.

Plus, their menu is nothing short of delicious. You can sink your teeth into hot BBQ, pasta and kebabs, while watching Friends, as the TV series is played all day long on the massive LED screen. In fact, they even have steaks that are named after Joey, and their bestsellers are the vegetarian and non-vegetarian Live BBQ buffet, Joeyland Steak and Unagi Omelette. This cafe in the ‘City of Joy’ will have you reminiscing about the sitcom from the moment you step through the door. The walls of the cafe are embellished with murals and objects, such as Phoebe’s bicycle, plus the iconic orange couch, the doors that will remind you of Monica’s apartment, as well as Pat the Dog, too.

The highlight is the mural on the outside wall that features the iconic pose of the characters at the fountain, in the opening credits of the show. While the café’s setting gives you the feel of the sitcom, the menu is entirely vegetarian replete with Phoebe’s choices, along with cheesecake named after Chandler and Rachel. However, the bestseller, is the Ross’s Moist Maker Sandwich. Everything here from the décor to the food is Insta-worthy!

Guests can expect finger-licking fast food, street food, Italian and Indian meals here.
