8Five2

Launched in 1999, 8Five2 was one of the first local authentic skateboard and street fashion stores to open in Hong Kong. They carry a number of both popular and underground labels like Primitive, Know1ledge, Nike SB, Vans, and Spitfire. In addition, their gorgeously curated shop features marble floors and glass bench displays.

JUICE

For high concept streetwear, you can’t go wrong at JUICE. Established in 2003 in Causeway Bay, this store carries a fine selection of contemporary streetwear and sneaker brands including Adidas, Bleu de Paname, Buscemi, Converse, Hood by Air, and more.

Onitsuka Tiger

Founded in 1949, Onitsuka Tiger is one of Japan’s oldest shoe stores. The label is known for its ‘tiger stripes’ emblazoned across its shoes, which come in colorful varieties, including graphic and metallic ones. Now a full-fledged streetwear brand, Onitsuka Tiger has several outposts in Hong Kong, including a concept shop in Gateway Arcade in Tsim Sha Tsui which sells apparel, luggage, graphic tees, and, of course, loads and loads of sneakers.

Y-3

Y-3 is a collaboration between Adidas and celebrated Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto. Here, sportswear and streetwear meet luxury fashion. In addition to some truly drool-worthy sneakers, Y-3 sells men’s and women’s apparel and accessories.

Loading Store

This store tends to carry small brands from California, New York, and the U.K., such as Good Worth & Co., Doom sayers, Mishka, Only NY, and more. Offering colorful sneakers, caps, hoodies, and sweatshirts, this is a great choice for those on the hunt for women’s streetwear apparel.

Upstairs Apparel

This old-school streetwear store based in Mong Kok sells men’s and women’s streetwear, as well as some cool-as-hell graphic backpacks. Labels on offer include BLVD, Carhartt, Civil, DOPE, IMKing, In4mation, Rebel8, Stussy, and more.

HOODS

HOODS is the boutique Hong Kong outpost of Japanese streetwear brand NEIGHBORHOOD, which was born in Tokyo’s Harajuku district in 1994. The label was originally inspired by motorcycle culture, but nowadays its designs tend toward sleek, modern sportswear. Expect to find cool tees, jeans, caps, beanies, and sweatshirts, as well as footwear by WTAPS.
