A popular holiday destination for sea-lovers, Morocco’s Agadir has a variety of attractions and activities to suit wide-ranging interests. There are several places to shop for souvenirs, traditional clothing, argan oil, and other local goods, but if you’re looking for a more intimate reminder of your trip there are several tattoos shops and henna tattoo artists too.

33 Ink

Located in the main tourist centre of Agadir, close to the long sandy stretch of beach, 33 Ink is a premier choice for people looking to get inked when on vacation in Agadir. Performing large and small tattoos in either colour or just black ink, the shop also offers body piercing services.

Silver Tattoo

Silver Tattoo has a range of pre-drawn designs to choose from, or customers can work with the artist to create their own tailored tattoos. Tattoos featuring traditional elements from Berber tattooing practices are especially popular. Piercing is also available and the store is open for most hours of the day.

Studio Allemand de Beauté

Studio Allemand de Beauté offers a selection of beauty and cosmetic services, including permanent tattooing, laser treatments, permanent makeup, manicures, pedicures, and piercings. The establishment has been in operation since 2001.

Agnès Black Style

Located close to Rialto Cinema, Agnès Black Style is a salon that specialises in beauty for black people. In addition to hair treatments and styling, makeup tips and makeovers, manicures and nail art, and piercings, the hygienic salon also offers tattoos, both temporary and permanent.

Tatawo Lounge

Tatawo Lounge is another tattoo parlour in Agadir that also does a range of body piercing, including ears, lips, eyebrows, and the nose. Regarding tattoos, customers can choose one of the existing designs or come up with their own body art ideas.

Agadir Tattoo

If you would love a tattoo while travelling around Morocco but don’t want a permanent mark yet, and want more colours than the blacks, reds, and oranges of henna, Agadir Tattoo could be just the place that you’re looking for. Filling a gap in the market, Agadir Tattoo skillfully applies temporary tattoos that eventually wear off but look like real ink for some time after being applied. Numerous colourful designs are available.

Surf Morocco Coast

Located in the popular surfing area of Taghazout, one of the cultural activities offered by Surf Morocco Coast is the opportunity to have a henna tattoo. The henna used is pure henna, not the black henna that is sometimes used by henna artists along the beach and can cause allergic reactions. Henna designs provide temporary body adornments that will eventually fade away.

Hand with detailed henna art

There are many henna tattoo artists along the beach, though do be wary of black henna, and in the local souks. The markets and souks of Agadir are also great places to pick up your own henna supplies. People who plan to combine a beach stay with a historic trip to the old imperial city of Marrakech will find a good selection of tattoo shops in the Red City too.
