Pizza can be found everywhere in Quito, Ecuador which is why most pizza joints offer two-for-one Tuesdays. From traditional Italian to Chicago-style, from neighborhood hole-in-the-wall to fine dining, the right pizza is waiting for you.

Pizzería El Hornero

Pizzeria, Restaurant, South American, Italian

For pizza made Ecuadorian-style, you must try Pizzería El Hornero. This chain restaurant makes rectangular-shaped pizzas topped with traditional and uniquely South American toppings, like sweet plantain with cheese or bacon with corn.

Al Forno

Pizzeria, Restaurant, Italian

Al Forno is probably the most popular Italian-style pizza restaurant with Ecuadorian families. The restaurant is large, loud and inclusive, while the pizzas are just downright delicious.

Fortunato's Pizza

Pizzeria, Restaurant, Italian

Lit by a brilliant red neon sign at night, Fortunato’s Pizza in La Floresta is like a beacon in the night. This small, hole-in-the-wall restaurant creates an excellent Italian-style pizza right before your eyes.

Cosa Nostra

Pizzeria, Restaurant, Italian

The best wood-fired oven pizza in all of Quito can be had at Cosa Nostra. Ingredients are always top notch and generous, but not so heavily applied that the crust can’t bear their weight. Both white and red sauce pizzas feature on the menu.

Georgina's

Restaurant, Italian, American

The only restaurant in Quito making Chicago-style pizza is Georgina’s in the La Carolina neighborhood. While the pizzas are delicious, they require ample cooking time so either order ahead or plan on enjoying a leisurely meal.

Romolo e Remo

Restaurant, Italian, Vegetarian

Romolo e Remo sells pizza by the slice, has excellent house wine and a relaxed atmosphere. They also bake some of the best focaccia in town. While we think the location at El Salvador is the best in town, you can’t go wrong at any of their restaurants.

QuiPizza

Food Truck, Restaurant, Italian, Vegan, Vegetarian

Located in food parks in both Quito and Cumbaya, QuiPizza makes the best vegetarian and vegan pizzas in Ecuador. They make their vegan cheese from sesame and almond milks; other cheeses and ingredients are locally sourced from small farms.
