This oceanfront restaurant is a tourist favorite on the island of Santa Cruz, not least because of its extensive menu and attentive staff. Choose from octopus, codfish, tuna and shrimp – all caught fresh from around the island – or opt for chicken or vegetables instead. Almar forms part of the Galápagos Habitat Eco Luxury Hotel, which has its own colony of sea lions living at the property – and plenty of iguanas hanging around, too. You may even get visited a turtle or two if you get a table by the water.
