Although Florianópolis has some of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil, there is so much more to this island. There are plenty of local stores to find that piece of paradise to take home with you, whether it’s a new bikini or exotic print dress. Discover the island’s top boutiques, from dreamy designer style clothes to artisanal crafts. Check out these top five boutiques on the island.

This clothing brand is well known among Brazilians for its ultra beachy vibe, bold colors and exotic prints. Rumor has it that it will be available at Anthropologie stores in the future, but visitors to Florianópolis are already in luck, as there are two locations of Farm stores. Peruse the racks for a boho-chic look or a bold, Brazilian-style bikini. They’ve also collaborated with Adidas for a hugely successful athleisure line.

Made in Guarda

This boutique channels the surf vibe of Floripa and other nearby beaches like Praia do Rosa, Garopaba and Guarda do Embaú, where the brand started. Their ultra-soft tees are generally simple, clean designs or phrases, and their dresses and skirts offer a laid-back look that is perfect for cruising around the island. Men should check out the brand’s board shorts and sleeveless tees to channel their inner surfer.

Their small shop in Campeche has a wealth of handicrafts from around Brazil, including woven baskets, handmade jewelry, textiles and dish ware. It’s the perfect one-stop-shop for souvenirs from around the country.
