You have gone out clubbing in São Paulo, it’s 3AM and you are still looking for something wild to do. Don’t worry, Love Story Club is just getting started. The nightclub is located in the heart of the city of São Paulo and is known for being the “house of houses” when it comes to partying. Below is a brief insight into what this club is really like.

Late night partying

Love Story Club, located in the Republica neighborhood, is open from Monday to Saturday, and is most frequented during the late hours of the night and the early hours of the morning. The establishment only opens at midnight, and closes at 10AM the next day. The crowds keep the place jumping from 3AM onwards, so if you consider yourself a night owl this might just be the place for you. The club keeps people energized throughout the night and into the morning with a mixture of house and dance music.

Brief history

Nestled in the center of São Paulo, the club was opened about 25 years ago, and was originally established for night workers who wished to have a little fun after leaving their jobs. The nightclub is divided into two floors: on the first floor the dance floor is surrounded by comfortable sofas where people can sit as they get tired out from dancing or simply want to observe the scenery. There are mini-stages spread around the area, where people can dance their hearts out. On the second floor, there is an American bar and a VIP lounge where those who pay extra can have an overview of the entire club. The club has tables for guests to sit and have a bite to eat, and has served dishes by world renowned chef Alex Atala.

People and atmosphere

The scenery in Love Story Club is as diverse as it gets. The cult nightclub is frequented by all types of tribes: from off-duty sex workers who are looking for some fun, to very wealthy people, LGBT, tourists and even some drug dealers. The atmosphere is sort of heavy, with a lot of naughtiness going on. But if you’re looking for someplace to go wild, this is it. It is alleged that Mike Tyson was once arrested in the Love Story Club, and that this was one of Nick Cave’s favorite spots when he lived in São Paulo. Brazilian movies and documentaries have also been filmed here, so if you are hoping to run into some of the most famous Brazilian celebrities, this would be the place to do it.
