The new kid on the block, Brisbane Brewing Co. is a welcome addition for the enthusiastic beer connoisseurs of Brisbane’s West End. Nestled at the end of a cozy alley, the bar and restaurant brews eight of its own beers on site. Nibble on five types of meats and cheeses while viewing the brewery, all washed down by a creamy decadent brew.

2. Laruche

Whether you’re after an alternate venue for an event or just an indie cocktail, Laruche, situated in Brisbane’s party hub, Fortitude Valley, is the place to be. The cocktail list will have your head spinning with the amount of beverages on offer, but that will soon be cured by opting for one of the shared jugs.

9. Super Whatnot

Bar, Beer, American

Did someone say bearded men and wire-rimmed tortoiseshell glasses? Super Whatnot is perhaps the most indie bar on the Brisbane scene, located in an ‘abandoned beauty college.’ It is one of the many laneway bars that opened up in Brisbane recently, but the atmosphere is unparalleled and the beer here will not disappoint.

10. The London Club

The London Club

While the name doesn’t sound very local, The London Club, located in exclusive New Farm, is a stand-out. Bookcases take up every inch of the walls, giving the venue a very regal feel.
