The café’s warm and inviting atmosphere is created by the bookstore and gift shop available at the front, accompanied by old furniture and homely décor. Volumes is always busy, so you can expect it to be noisy at most times of the day. However, with its large-sized portions, plentiful menu and moderately cheap and reasonable prices, it is a great place to enjoy a meal.

If you like modern-styled meals and great coffee, this is the place to go. As well as very attentive staff, Second Home always provides great hospitality to customers. If you like breakfast and brunch, you’re in luck as the restaurant specialises in these areas. It even provides a healthy organic section, made up with super foods, for those who want to eat fresh and local organic produce.

Lilies on Brougham

If you like simplicity, then Lilies on Brougham is the place for you. This French-inspired restaurant has a calm, relaxing atmosphere, which includes a lovely outside area separated into two parts: undercover and an open backyard area set up with old-fashioned furniture. With a gift store in the main room of the café, there is plenty to browse while waiting for food. Its tasty breakfast options are popular among locals, especially the pancakes and eggs benedict, along with their coffee. However, their lunch menu is quite limited and has only up to five options, changing only every three months or so. If you enjoy a small menu and a relaxing, elegant aura, then be sure to visit Lilies on Brougham.
