Located in the heart of Cairns, Gilligan’s boasts a short walk to heaps of cafes, nightclubs, Rusty’s Market and more. In the Cairn’s heat, you’ll make the most of the massive pristine pool and cheap $5 meals. The fun starts at themed nights, a huge outdoor pub screen, day trips and giveaways – not to mention nightclubs hosting top international DJs.

Daintree Crocodylus

If you’re up in the north and want to see as much of the lush tropical landscape in its natural environment, this eco-friendly, safari style group accommodation is a great option. Daintree Crocodylus offers a heap of experiences, including an amazing two day sea-kayaking expedition to the amazing Snapper Island.

If hanging at base camp is more your style, enjoy the pool and relax in the common areas.

Sleeping Inn

Sleeping Inn on the Gold Coast comes loaded with heaps of freebies – storage, WiFi, boogie boards etc. A heap of activities are on site to keep you busy when you’re not off exploring the nearby hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast. Breeze Lodge

Hostel, Lodge

Breeze Lodge is one of Brisbane’s best hostels. Not only is it well known for being sparkling clean, but you won’t want to leave the lounge chairs on the rooftop overlooking the city. Super-speedy internet and two massive lounge areas will give you some reprieve from the big smoke, so you can catch up on some Netflix.

Gagaju Bushcamp

Head off the beaten track and get the bush camp experience. While you’re not too far from Noosa’s trendy high street, you’ll feel like you’re in the middle of the Aussie bush. Think of waking up to songbirds, experiencing bushfires at night or canoeing in the river just meters from your camp. This isn’t your nightclub party backpacking experience, this is an authentic Australiana one. Take the bug spray – and the adventurous spirit!
