Ester Restaurant is a trendy restaurant that offers many vegetarian options in addition to their regular menu. Be sure to try their most popular menu item, the full head of cauliflower. It would be wise to make a reservation in advance, but they do reserve a little space for walk-ins. Monday-Friday they offer drinks at 5.30, and many of their menu selections are cooked in their wood-fired oven.

Chiosco

Chiosco restaurant has amazing vegetarian options in addition to wonderful waterfront views. This casual and friendly restaurant is BYO and barefoot friendly. Their menu is Italian-based, and they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is the perfect place to socialize and dine outside on warm summer nights.

Bread & Circus Wholefoods Canteen is a great casual place for lunch. They offer communal seating so the atmosphere is very open and friendly, and their menu changes daily, but always consists of organic food. They are open daily for breakfast and lunch; for lunch, be sure to try their creative and generous-sized salads. In addition to their cuisine, they also have an extensive list of specialty juices and fine teas.

The Bridge Room

The Bridge Room is an award-winning restaurant that offers a menu inspired by Europe and Asia. Many of their dishes are slow smoked in the Japanese style, and their dishes change according to the seasonal availability of ingredients. The restaurant is modern and trendy, and the centerpiece of the restaurant is their open kitchen.

Moon Park

Head to Moon Park for authentic Korean food. The restaurant overlooks Redfern Park and is open for reservations. The interior of the restaurant is minimalistic and modern; come here for a casual night out with friends or family. Be sure to ask for their vegetarian menu and try some of their specialties, like the charred eggplant or potato pancake. They also have a wonderful wine selection.
