TEDx Presents The Adventurous Minds Conference

Since 1984, TED, a nonprofit organisation, has acted as a platform for many inspirational speakers to share powerful ideas with the world, and this August, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre will host an Adventurous Minds conference with a focus on trail-blazers and boundary-pushing concepts. Among the list of speakers is award-winning spacecraft designer and scramjet engineer Professor Michael Smart, Melbourne mountaineer Jade Hameister, architect and academic Dr Agustin Chevez, business leader and transgender community advocate JoAnna Ferrari, The Bucket List Guy Travis Bell, pioneer for the Australian youth sector Jan Owen AM, writer and creative director Sam Doust and business leader Steve Vamos, with more names to be announced soon.
