Seattle’s Best and Most Affordable Happy Hours
Since Washington State is one of the top five states in the country with the most wineries, cideries, and breweries, you can be sure to find excellent happy hours in Seattle. There’s nothing worse though than the happy hour check bringing you down. So for those happy hours that keep your budget happy too, these are the best places to check out.
1. Toulouse Petit Kitchen and Lounge
One of the best parts of happy hour at Toulouse is the wide range of options. Claiming one of the best happy hours in the nation, Toulouse Petit Kitchen and Lounge offers an Early Happy Hour from 4 pm to 6 pm as well as a Late Night Happy Hour from 10 pm to close. There are more than 50 dishes available, ranging in price from $5 to $11, $10 cocktails, “common industry shots” for $9.50, beer ranging from $5 to $10, and house wine by the glass for $8.

2. Serious Pie
One of Tom Douglas’ restaurants, Serious Pie offers an excellent happy hour—seriously: half-size salads for $5 and all the pizza from their regular menu in half-size for $6. Their happy hour-specific beer, wine, and cocktails range from $2 to $8. All of this is available Monday through Friday between 3 pm and 6 pm at their Westlake location. At their Virginia Street location, the half-size pizza, as well as select beer and wine, cost no more than $6 and are all available from 3 pm to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

4. Linda's Tavern
This cowboy-themed tavern up on Capitol Hill has, in addition to the resident pool table and jukebox, $3 wells and sliders during their daily happy hour from 7 pm to 9 pm. Pabst is on offer for $2 per pint or $5 per pitcher, while microbrews come out to $3 a pint and $7.50 a pitcher. Grab the goods and settle in at a booth, or snatch a patio table before they’re all taken!

With three Seattle locations (South Lake Union, U. Village, and Capitol Hill), Ba Bar is a top-notch Vietnamese food spot you don’t want to miss. During these special hours, small plates, specialties, pho, and cocktails are all available for between $4 and $10 (approximately). The Late Night Happy Hour varies at each location, so make sure to double-check the times; it generally ranges from 8 pm to close. The price range is the same as the earlier happy hour, but with a more limited menu. Note that cocktails are only $6 on Sundays and Mondays, while beer and wine specials are offered daily.
