The Landing has outstanding food and an excellent staff on top of great drinks and location. It is across from the Virginia Beach municipal center. Static Restaurant & Lounge has good people, good drinks, good music, and good food. If you’re looking for soul food in Hampton Roads, this is the place to go. It may not be a large establishment – it is located in a strip mall after all – but it’s not hard to get a table or a seat at the bar. Their macaroni and cheese is the best in the area.

Stoleys

Stoleys has top-notch service to match the quality of food it provides. The chance of getting a bad meal here is minimal. Plus, the atmosphere is lively and the martinis are top-notch. While very small, Stoleys attracts the local crowd due to the prices. Sometimes you have to wait if there’s a big rush.
