Belle Sucre Bakery

This remarkable bakery is known for their handcrafted desserts. These lovely pastries are created by Pastry Chef Jonathan Bowden and his talented staff. The shop specializes in French-style desserts like macarons, croissants and charming holiday pies such as the spiced pumpkin pie, the fresh apple pie and the salted caramel pecan pie. Each dessert at Belle Sucre is carefully prepared and eloquently presented, right down to the edible gold leaf on the éclairs.

Bowie Bakery

Another gem in El Paso in the heart of Segundo Barrio is the Bowie Bakery, notorious for being the best traditional bakery in the city. It was first established in 1951 and was re-opened in 1971 by Angel Marquez. Marquez began baking bread when he was 13 years old in his hometown of Sombrerete, Mexico. At the bakery, you are able to choose from many pastries, including choco-flans, tres leches cakes, tarts and El Paso’s favorite bread, pan dulce.

Bake Me Happy

At Bake Me Happy, you can choose from an array of traditional cupcakes, imaginatively designed custom cupcakes, cakes, candied apples, and candies. All pastries are made fresh using all-natural ingredients. Some of the cupcakes options include the El Paso Cream Pie, the Dalmatian Chocolate, the Peanut Butter Jelly and the Chocolate Strawberry cupcake.

Nothing Bundt Cakes

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the bundt cakes seem to melt into your mouth as you bite into them, a quality that makes them addictive. There are about ten different flavors of bundt cake to choose from, along with numerous different sizes of cake perfect for any occasion.
