Take a private tour through 3,000 acres, complete with wildlife, lakes, and open fields. They take on both beginners and experienced riders, and children can ride one of their ponies or miniature horses. Within the city limits, just north of downtown Austin, is Spicewood Farms. The farm is a great place to bring young students; the instructors take their time guiding beginners through the responsibilities of taking care of a horse and the proper ways to ride, ensuring that both the horse and the rider remain safe.

White Fences Equestrian Center

White Fences Equestrian Center is just east of downtown Austin, but you’ll feel as though you’re hours outside of the city. You’re also free to pack a picnic or use one of their BBQ pits to cook up a warm meal after your trail adventures.
