The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation

Many people head to Ninfa’s for the fajitas, which made their entry to the US right here; however, others visit Ninfa’s for one of their fresh-squeezed margaritas. They have everything from a traditional margarita to one with a hint of cilantro for a more culinary experience. While the Ninfarita is recommended (the tried-and-true recipe has been around for 30 years) they also offer a margarita made with coffee and another with honey and cotton candy! No matter which flavor your palate is craving, rest assured that lime juice will not be out of a mixed margarita bottle. It will be fresh from the lime (or other citrus) of your choice.

This place makes everything from scratch, which includes the locally recommended margaritas. Stop in here for a traditional margarita served with a side of loyal and friendly service that is 100 percent guaranteed.

Margarita on the rocks

Lopez Mexican Restaurant

Lopez is where to find the El Rey, the ‘King of Margaritas’ in Houston. This handcrafted margarita includes the traditionally hand-pressed lime juice and agave nectar. Next to this one is the classic version, as well as the option to go mango or strawberry, but the real delight is when the night gets spicy and the margaritas get hot. Lopez offers two HOT margaritas. The Firecracker is a spicy habanero margarita served with a chile-lime salted rim. The Spicy Habanero is a classic margarita for all lime lovers, topped with habanero syrup to give it a nice kick!

Strawberry margarita

Frio to Go

This place has margaritas, to GO. All frozen drinks are made from scratch, to order, and from fresh fruit. While Frio is famous for their daiquiris, they make a mean margarita as well. The drive-thru makes them convenient, but Frio welcomes guests to come and sit with them for a bit. Not only that, but with the membership program, points can be earned for trying the various kinds!

Skinny Rita’s Grille

Last but not least, a margarita place for all of the vegetarians, gluten-free and organic-only Tex-Mex lovers! This place is most famous for their organic margaritas, and you’ll find several options to consume here. It will be hard to decide whether to get the Up In Smoke Margarita with wood-grilled pineapple juice, the Al Fresco Margarita with fresh watermelon, or maybe even La Encabronada Margarita with a zesty combination of grapefruit and muddled serrano peppers.
