Cypress Valley Canopy Tours

Founded way back in 2005, Cypress Valley Canopy Tours is an aerial resort located along the Pedernales River in the Texas Hill Country. Located just 30 miles (48km) west of downtown Austin, Cypress Valley Canopy Tours can be found in Spicewood, Texas. They offer a wide range of activities including canopy tours, canopy walks, ziplining and overnight treehouse stays for guests looking for something a little bit special.

Tree Luxury

Did you know that there’s such a thing as “tree luxury”? Well, you can now live the high life in more ways than one during your break. Luxury treehouse accommodation is available to book to give your stay an extra special lift.

The treehouses are nestled up high in the beautiful, tall cypress trees, and there’s magic to be found up there. The soothing sounds of the ravine and the night sounds of the valley will lull you into slumber as fireflies illuminate the skies in the distance.

The peaceful treehouse havens have different occupancy numbers, with the Yoki, Lofthaven, Juniper and Willow treehouses each sleeping two guests for a more intimate stay. The Nest sleeps four guests regularly but can accommodate up to six if you have a bigger party.

The Ranch House is located on the ground, but the main room is designed to feel like a treehouse, looking into the creek ravine through the treetops. That sleeps up to 14 people, so if you ever wanted to recreate the forest party scene at the end of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (the one with all the Ewoks), then this is your chance! But be warned, only booked guests may enter the treehouses.

Zipline activities at the Texas Tree House

Ziplining is awesome fun, and here you can experience the full thrill of flying through the canopy of old-growth cypress trees, with some of them reaching heights of up to 100 feet (30m) tall.

Gliding across steel ziplines from platform to platform high in the treetops, you’ll leave all of your troubles on the ground as a new world of tranquility awaits. Promising a thrilling eco-adventure, the experience aims to reconnect patrons with nature. It also marries the exhilaration of an activity break with a serene and peaceful holiday, making this an adventure break that caters to everything.

Cypress Valley Canopy Tours include five ziplines, two sky bridges and a rappel and lasts from 90 minutes to two hours depending on your activity.
