The next film in Discovery Green’s Screen on the Green series is Disney’s live-action version of Cinderella (2015). The classic fairytale is reimagined with the help of Academy Award winning actresses Helena Bonham Carter and Cate Blanchett. Games and activities begin an hour prior to the screening. Cinderella herself will make a special guest appearance beginning at 5:30PM. Discovery Green hosts monthly movie nights where families can lay out blankets and lawnchairs on the grassy hillside and watch a film in the midst of the Houston skyline. The park offers concessions at vendor stands and two restaurants located in the park. Adults can enjoy beer and wine purchased at the park.
