Celebrate the king with a weekend long celebration in Dallas! The inaugural ‘Texas’ Tribute to Elvis Presley’ will hold tribute concerts, competitions, panels, and a disco. Performances are broken down into themes so you catch exactly what you are looking for. ‘Elvis Country’ covers some of his hits in the country world. ‘Spirit of the King’ will showcase his Gospel classics. ‘Long Live the King’ is a celebration of Elvis’ entire legendary career. Be sure to catch The Holladay Sisters, Elvis’ original backing vocalists. The festival will also host the only preliminary round to qualify for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, a global competition for Elvis tribute artists that culminates in a final round during ‘Elvis Week’ in Memphis, Tennessee.
