While every Kimpton hotel offers a distinct story, the Hotel Palomar is unique, with its theme of Art in Motion. The stunning Art Deco design adds to the grandeur of the landmark 1929 building, with modern boutique accents. Hotel rooms are spacious and elegant, with stunning marble bathrooms and plush beds with pillow-top mattresses. Specialty features include overnight shoe shining and spa packages. Although the stay is pricy, the fine dining at the Lacroix Restaurant is well worth the splurge.

The Sofitel Philadelphia combines French flair with American style, and the vast suites include chic modern furniture along with a feathertop SoBed, fully stocked minibar and French bath amenities. The hotel is a favorite for business meetings and, although it offers no spa packages, it’s in a prime location for some of the best shopping and sights in Philadelphia.

This classic hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, but that doesn’t mean it’s passé, with 301 fashion-inspired rooms, boutique interiors and edgy designs.
