Kaleidoscope Caféis a hidden gem among Lawrenceville restaurants. The exterior of the artistic cafe is covered with a beautiful, abstract mural and the interior is quaint and cozy, inviting visitors in for a casual, fine-dining experience. Feast on delicious pastas, such as the deep-fried gnocchi or classic marinara. There are a surplus of fresh salads on the menu, in additions to soups and sandwiches. Small plates feature crab dip and a duck canola, while the entrees list Cornish hen and filet mignon. Don’t forget to order dessert. On certain days of the week, when you purchase a small plate and two entrees, you get a complimentary bottle of wine. Come in during happy hour to munch on parmesan cheese and truffle oil popcorn, smoked brisket tacos, buffalo mac ‘n cheese flatbread pizza, and wild boar bacon – and those are just the appetizers! There are six, juicy burgers on the menu, as well as fish and chips, southern fried chicken, and baby back ribs. As good as the food may be, Industry is still a pub, so check out the drinks. Craft cocktails, premium whiskeys, and refreshing wines accompany the three-dozen beers on tap. The first floor features a bar and restaurant, which serves tasty, casual fare. Some include pulled pork, burgers, tacos, wings, fries and pierogies. The second floor features an additional bar, and a lively dance floor. Dance to your favorite tunes, performed by a live band or DJ. The menu features antipasti dishes, such as bruschetta, baked polenta, baked meatballs, and a plate of cured meats and cheeses. There are at least 15 signature thin crust pizzas, which are prepared in a wood-fired oven. From the vegetable toppings to the cheeses, all pizzas are made with the freshest ingredients; note that there are no substitutions. The many handmade pastas come in a variety of styles and sauces that are sure to satisfy anyone’s carb craving. Lastly, the menu includes a few paninis, cocktails and drinks, and of course, dessert. Tessaro’s is that neighborhood bar around the corner that everybody loves. People gather there for good food, good beer, and a good time. The old-fashioned American bar and grill is known for their deluxe half-pound burgers, including the ‘Deli Burger,’ ‘Breakfast Burger,’ ‘Cajun Burger,’ and ‘Barbecue Burger.’ The beef for the burgers is all ground in-house and prepared on a hardwood grill. Tessaro’s also serves steak sandwiches, sandwiches and clubs, beef and pork ribs, kabobs, steaks, and salads.
