Angelina’s Pizzeria & Cafe

Angelina’s Pizzeria and Cafe is a great casual venue to sample some tasty New York style pizza. Procuring the freshest ingredients available, the culinary team at this café makes everything from scratch, including the dough and focaccia bread. The menu offers a variety of pizzas along with sandwiches, calzones, and salads that will tickle the taste buds of meat lovers, vegetarians, and gluten free diners. Pizzas to note include the pesto Toscana topped with black olives, artichoke hearts, roma tomatoes, fresh basil, and pesto and the seaside cowboy with grilled chicken or pulled pork, bacon, jalapeños, cheddar, and mozzarella. Bagels by the Sea

Tucked inside an old bank building, Bagels by the Sea is a wonderful café with a comfortable and homey atmosphere. Next door to Bell Buoy, their seafood specialty store, this family-owned and operated café is a casual joint where guests can savor some of the tastiest clam chowder around. The menu also features great options such as fish and chips made with halibut, wild salmon, or cod, seaside razor clams either grilled or deep fried, and crab cakes. Seafood melts are also available in shrimp or crab varieties along with cocktails and shooters.

Nonni’s Italian Bistro

A family operated eatery owned by Dennis and Nancy McKeown, Nonni’s Italian Bistro is a charming establishment serving lunch and dinner Thursday through to Monday. The culinary team at Nonni’s uses nothing but the best ingredients, which often include local products. Within a warm, inviting atmosphere, guests can savor spaghetti and meatballs made with fresh spaghetti and beef veal pork meatballs stuffed with fontina all topped with marzano bolognese meat sauce and the cioppino, a seafood stew with clams, crab, mussels, salmon, plus the catch of the day all in a tomato sauce. Made from scratch desserts, including tiramisu, are offered as well.

Osprey Café

Osprey Café is an enjoyable brunch spot. Within a welcoming space, complete with art adorned walls, guests are presented with a broad menu . Must try options include French toast made with thick sliced sourdough bread and served with real maple syrup or raspberry jam and nasi goreng (Indonesian rice with sautéed vegetables), wild-caught shrimp, and chicken served with a sunny side up egg and kecap manis. Mouthwatering sweet treats, such as cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, and cookies, are available as well.

Patty’s Wicker Cafe

Patty’s Wicker Cafe offers a homey atmosphere, complete with movie posters adorning the walls and wicker seating, the café, which also offers views of the river, is an ideal spot to relax with family and friends while enjoying a selection of home style American breakfast and lunch items that will satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. Some options to try include the veggie scramble with hash browns, the waffle with butter and syrup, and the quiche served with fresh fruit. The lunch menu has a variety of sandwiches, including a meatloaf sandwich, along with soups and salads.

Seaside Coffee House

Roasting a variety of single origin, coffee blends, and flavored coffees since 1996, Seaside Coffee House is a relaxing café serving guests not only great coffee drinks but also tasty snacks. The comfortable interior is perfect to hangout with friends or even to get some work done as they offer free wi-fi. Open seven days a week, the café offers a variety of sweet and savory edibles, including the bagel breakfast sandwich with two eggs, Swiss or cheddar cheese, sausage or ham all on a bagel and the fresh fruit yogurt parfait made with strawberry yogurt, fresh bananas, strawberries, dried blueberries, plus granola. Sandwiches, both deli and grilled, wraps, soup, and salads are also on the menu.

A recent addition on the culinary landscape in Seaside, Sea Star Gelato opened its doors in early 2015 delighting anyone with a sweet tooth. Specializing in gelato and dairy free sorbet, this family owned business features a colorful interior and friendly staff, making it a delightful place to enjoy some of the creamy, hand crafted goodness available. Some of the incredible flavors visitors might find include sea salted caramel, cookies and cream, marionberry, banana, hazelnut latte, rocky road, pink grapefruit, and the POG (passion orange guava), which is a sorbet. Looking for something savory before dessert? Sea Star Gelato also offers a selection of paninis.

The Stand

Owned and operated by the Saucedo family, The Stand is a popular eatery serving tasty Mexican cuisine. Open Monday through Friday, this fast casual establishment features a cozy interior in which to try an array of zesty dishes from tostadas to tamales to burritos to tacos and much, much more. Highlights include the carne asada taco featuring a homemade corn tortilla filled with seasoned grilled beef, pico de gallo, and lime; the spicy vegetable burrito with a variety of grilled veggies, spicy salsa, lettuce, tomato, and cheese, and the chile rellano, a mild green chile stuffed with jack cheese, battered and fried then topped with salsa, more cheese, plus sour cream.
