Along the flat, paved trail, there’s free parking, as well as restrooms, picnic areas, and plenty of places to stop for lunch, coffee, or ice cream. There’s also a playground for little ones and a gorgeous view of the Little Miami River.

International Friendship Park

A riverside biking trail offers stunning views of the Ohio River in Cincinnati’s International Friendship Park. These trails, mostly flat, are ideal for beginners or cyclists with young children. As a beautifully designed park where intricate gardens are in bloom and sculptures are on display, International Friendship Park boasts one of Cincinnati’s most aesthetically pleasing and rejuvenating bike rides. The gardens were built to depict an intertwined friendship bracelet, representing global peace, diversity, and understanding.

There are plenty of spots to grab a bite close by, but you can also bring a picnic and eat right in the park. Nearby is the Every Child’s Playground at Sawyer Point, a great place to visit if you’ve got kids in tow.

Sharon Woods

Sharon Woods is a picturesque park in Sharonville, Ohio. The park includes fields and forests populated by birch and oak trees. A paved, shady 2.6-mile (4.1-kilometer) trail, ideal for biking, skating, and running, encircles an 11-acre lake where visitors are often boating.

This cycling trail is another perfect one for kids, as the path is smooth, easy, and scenic. When you’re done riding, stop off at the Adventure Station, an indoor play area spanning two stories. You can also visit the playground in the park’s central hub or the snack bar for a treat, and the Heritage Village Museum within the park shows visitors what it was like to live in the 1800s.
