Midtown East in New York City is home to many great boutiques and department stores, and MOMA is within walking distance. There are also many incredible places to eat in Midtown East. We’ve featured some of the best.

Sushi Yashuda is an upscale sushi restaurant located in Midtown East. Their sushi is selected from all over the world, including of course, Japan. They offer an uncluttered atmosphere with bamboo wood. The chefs at Sushi Yashuda turn sushi making into a science, preparing the rice carefully and selecting the freshest fish. They also pay attention to the ‘energy’ of the fish they select. They design their meals according to their customers’ needs and preferences, so no two meals are the same.

Bukhara Grill

Opened in 1999, Bukhara Grill brings flavors of North Indian cuisine. The atmosphere is rustic and creative with Persian carpets hung from the ceiling and cups and utensils brought from India. On the first floor there is a bar and a decorative cascading waterfall. On the second floor is the main dining area with a terrace that overlooks Amster Yard. The third floor is for private parties. A daily lunch buffet is offered and they are known for their flavorful kebabs.
