A self-proclaimed “social hub” that “mashes up Asbury’s Victorian era history, with its rock ‘n’ roll present and shiny future,” The Asbury Hotel has become a force to be reckoned with. On any given night there’s something exciting to see and do at The Asbury – don’t miss these activities when you visit.

Using every square inch of their space—especially the 4,300 square feet on the roof—The Baronet is a large rooftop area with an artificial lawn, panoramic ocean views and ample amount of sunlight that’s open to guests who want a quiet space to relax during the day, plus, sunrise yoga in the morning. However, as soon as the sun begins to set, The Baronet is transformed into an outdoor movie theater, where guests can enjoy classic films from lawn chairs and oversized bean bags. Popcorn is available upon request, of course.

Asbury Skating Rink

Boutique Hotel

Never one to hibernate, the city of Asbury Park is alive and well during its supposed “off-season”. The Asbury Hotel is no exception, as it rolls out its popular ice skating rink in the backyard. This winter wonderland is complete with a full size rink, a fire pit to keep onlookers warm, food trucks and even a bar that serves up hot mulled wine and other wintertime cocktails. Check it out Friday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

This elevated lobby bar is affectionately known as “The Soundbooth” thanks to its seemingly omnipresent live musical guests and choice playlist. This is a great spot to hear local bands, duos or soloists, from singers to pianists and more. Grab a drink from the bar and head over to the colorful stadium-inspired seating area where you can enjoy the sights and sounds. Plus, check out the website for a rotating events calendar.
