From the Strip to Downtown, Las Vegas has some of the most luxurious, exciting pool complexes around. Famous for throwing epic parties, Vegas pools offer performances by DJs and live bands, expertly crafted cocktails, scrumptious food and unique experiences that you won’t find at your average pool party.

To say that Las Vegas gets hot in the summer is a serious understatement, so pools have always been an essential amenity for hotel-casinos in the city. But the debut of the Rehab pool party at the Hard Rock Hotel in 2004 changed the entire game for pools in Las Vegas, transforming them from ancillary benefits to the main attraction. The pools have become an extension of the Vegas nightclub experience that’s come to be known as “daylife.” You can’t visit Las Vegas and not go to a pool party, especially since hotels around the city invite both guests and non-guests to take part in the festivities and enjoy the equivalent of nightclubs with water, DJs and live music. Uncover the legendary pool scene in Sin City with our Las Vegas pool-hopping guide.

Part of the extensive renovation at the Palms is this massive new entertainment complex, which transitions seamlessly from its nightclub area to an outdoor pool more than twice the size of the club. Daylife bleeds into nightlife with nighttime pool parties featuring A-list DJs, as well as superstar musical artists like Cardi B and G-Eazy, both part of KAOS’s initial residency line-up.

You can’t blame people for only thinking of golf when they think of Topgolf, but the state-of-the-art driving-range complex behind the MGM Grand is not just a place to hit a few balls. Topgolf’s Hideaway Pool offers access to the facility’s hitting bays, along with cabanas, a 28-foot (9m) TV and a swim-up bar. It’s free to the public and is the perfect way to cool off after a round at the driving range.
