Baltimore, Maryland, has a variety of activities that would interest the avid traveler. From sightseeing to sunbathing on the beach, Mayland has many adventures for you to explore. Here are some of the best adventures for you to pursue in Maryland.

Go to Ocean City

Ocean City, Maryland, has many options for a person that loves to be on the move. Ocean City is its own separate city that has plenty of lodging, restaurants, and beach activities. This place has many options for fun on the water, such as parasailing and paragliding. There are also special beach nights and even fireworks offered at certain times of the year. Not to mention, you always have an opportunity to boogie board or swim and then hang out on the beach afterward.

Run with the horses

Assateague State Park is about nine miles away from Ocean City, therefore it’s the perfect place to visit as you’re heading away from the beach. At this park, there are a number of wild animals, such as wild horses, waterfowl and deer. The horses are absolutely beautiful to see in their own habitat running free. If you’re the type of person who longs to create your own adventure, you can do so by kayaking, surfing or even fishing. This park also allows people to camp onsite, but it would be best to speak with a Ranger and make a reservation before you decide to camp at this park.

Visit the Baltimore Inner Harbor

Now it’s time to take things back inland and venture to downtown Baltimore at the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor has a range of activities, mostly outside. You can bike around the harbor, although it is not a complete circle, so you’ll have to circle back to your original destination. You can also take a variety of water cruises and ship tours of various ships that are docked at the Inner Harbor.
