The restoration of Lehmann House has been a labor of love for owner Marie Davies over the past 30 years. Originally built in 1893, this bed and breakfast features many examples of fine woodworking in oak, maple and cherry, such as the floor-to-ceiling bookcase in the library. Marie has filled the house with Victorian period antiques and reproductions, and offers house tours during the week. Guests rave about her breakfasts, and they also love to visit the ice cream shop at nearby Lafayette Park. Downtown, but on a quiet street, Lehmann House is a St Louis legend.
