Complete with luxury retailers, world-renowned designer boutiques, art galleries & chic eateries, the Design District runs north to south along NE 2nd Avenue just north of I95 and NE 36th Street. The Miami Design District is owned by Miami Design District Associates, a partnership between Dacra, founded and owned by visionary entrepreneur Craig Robins, and L Real Estate, a global real estate development and investment fund, specializing in creating luxury shopping destinations.

Berluti is one for the gentlemen. It’s a place where you’ll find everything leather from jackets to vintage-chic suitcases. This upscale men’s boutique keeps it very classy with simple materials and flawless handicraft. The shoes are also a popular attraction, along with the ready-to-wear stateside, a recent introduction. Walking through the store you’ll get a real appreciation for the design, layout, and artistic qualities of the shops in the Miami Design District.

2. Chernaya Bridal House

It’s only fair, the guys had one and now its your turn ladies. Chernaya Bridal House proudly owns the title of being Miami’s premiere bridal boutique and the only one in the highly exclusive Design District… And for good reason. Their dresses are meticulously crafted with an eye for the fashion-forwards nature of Miami’s upscale clientele. Next up is a store that epitomizes the sleek architectural designs that are typical of the district. With elements of the Art Deco style that Miami is famous for, Emilio Pucci is a great fit in the neighborhood. This boutique produces ready-to-wear clothes and accessories for women. Founded in Paris in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela, Maison Margiela (house of Margiela) presents a stunning display of fashion, style, jewelry, and interior design. Not to be outdone by Jaeger-Lecoultre, Panerai is a renowned luxury watch maker, with a flagship location in the heart of Miami’s Design District. The two story building boasts an impressive area of 2,200 square feet with two entrances, making this the largest Panerai point of sale in the United States. Architect Patricia Urquiola designed a simple yet chic showroom with a retro-vintage feel to it. The Swiss are the world’s best watch makers, Panerai’s collections are a perfect example of the type of masterful craftsmanship that we’ve come to expect from stores in the district.
