Miami has some of the most beautiful yoga spots in America, with many of them having oceanfront views or large windows through which the bright sunshine and the sea breeze can make its way inside. Here are seven spots that all offer great instructors as well as great energy.

I Am Equilibrium

I Am Equilibrium is more than just a yoga studio; it’s a holistic gym. In addition to offering classes that work the physical body, the studio also aims to make sure each guest is healing their mind and spirit as well. This spot offers other services like hypnosis, energy healing, massage, detoxing, sound therapy, and nutritional healing workshops that guests can use in combination with their favorite yoga class. Healing cannot happen by just focusing on one part of the body – it has to be all of it.

Greenmonkey® Yoga Coral Gables

Greenmonkey® has many different locations throughout Miami, with a favorite locale being the one in Coral Gables. The studio has several rooms for different classes and a varied schedule that allows guests to try all different kinds of yoga, including traditional, fast-paced styles and more restorative ones. Some classes have music, while others take place in silence. Some are heated, while others are not. If you’re looking for a studio with a lot of variety, give this one a try. It is also one of the most affordable studios in Miami.

The Standard

Boutique Hotel, Spa Hotel

Get your downward dog on at this boutique hotel, with classes on meditation, vinyasa flow, inversions, and more. The yoga studio is quaint and minimal, and the window is often left open to allow natural light, air, and energy to flow into the room. Guests can also attend some of the hotel’s other cool events like Eye Gazing with your loved one, Open Heart Meditations, Reiki circles, and much more. The hotel also offers yoga on the deck sometimes, where guests can come and get into a warrior pose as the sun dips into the water.

Prana Yoga

Located in the heart of Coral Gables, Prana Yoga is a perfect place to unwind after a long day at work. If you’re just popping into town for a while and are looking for a cozy place to stretch out and melt away stress without getting into the hustle and bustle of Downtown Miami or South Beach, you’ll love this studio. Classes offered here include candlelight yoga, gentle yoga, intermediate classes, and Kundalini classes. A perfect place for any level of yogi, the studio also offers Ayurvedic massages for purchase, as well as fun events and workshops.

Bikram Hot Yoga

If you feel like you’re in need of some serious detoxing, there’s nothing like a Bikram yoga class. Bikram Hot Yoga 305 has the best classes for both newbies and advanced hot yogis. You’ll need to bring a lot of water as the room’s temperature is a whopping 104ºF (40ºC). Sweating is an incredibly healthy process as it allows your body to release more toxins. And while you might feel sticky during the length of the class, when you walk into the cooler outside air, your body will feel renewed. https://www.instagram.com/p/BO-INF9g8L9/?taken-by=bikramhotyoga305&hl=en

TRIO

Yoga Studio

TRIO, located in the heart of the Arts District, is a cool and funky yoga studio that also offers aerial yoga. Vinyasa flow, Reiki circles, yin yoga, and slow flow also make appearances here, and overall, the yoga studio is a tranquil place full of beautiful energy. The instructors are encouraging and compassionate, and after just one class (whether you do a basic class or hang upside down from a piece of cloth), you’ll feel relaxed and ready to take on the world.

If you want the real deal, you have to visit this quiet yet spacious yoga studio in West Miami. Candles illuminate the room, and crystals and Himalayan salt lamps adorn the space. The vibe is calming and inviting, and the classes are best suited for seasoned yogis who want to perfect their poses and flexibility. The classes are inexpensive as well; $12 will get you a two-hour hatha yoga class, whereas other studios in Miami can cost $25+.
