Funky Buddha Brewery
Funky Buddha Brewery is a 40,000 square-foot production brewery, located in Oakland Park, near Ft Lauderdale. It is currently the largest brewery in South Florida. This unique facility also features a 3,000 square-foot taproom where special releases and brewery exclusive beers are available on tap. Devon Kreps and Justin Stange held the grand opening of 7venth Sun on January 7, 2012. Ms Kreps graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Fermentation Science and later brewed at Anheuser-Busch, where she left to become the Production Manager at Sweetwater Brewing in Atlanta. Justin Strange brewed at Sweetwater Brewery and Cigar City in Tampa. Belgian-style, IPAs, spirit barrel-aged beer, and oak-aged sour beer are the specialties here. Beer to try: Key Lime Sublime.
