Brunch is the universal post-night out past time. Miami is known for its vibrant nightlife, white sand beaches, and the Wynnewood art district, all of which must be followed up with everyone’s favorite late morning weekend activity, brunch. The following are some of South Beach’s best brunch spots, from budget friendly local joints to posh party spots, South Beach has it all.

27 Restaurant And Bar

27 Restaurant and Bar, started by Elad Zvi and Gabriel Orta, is set in a 1930s house designed by Russel Thorn Pancoast and located two short blocks from the beach. The bar, famous for its cocktails and staff of mixologists, does not cease to amaze with its Sunday brunch. Brunch options include mimosas with a tropical twist and a rich menu, much of which utilizes local ingredients. The eclectic menu ranges from breakfast burritos to cast iron cinnamon rolls, and from green bloodies to cider to rosé. The atmosphere is just as good as the menu, with fireplace mantels and wooden floors and the location is central to the beach and other high profile bars, making it the first stop before many on a lovely South Beach day.

Yardbird is the Southern Brunch of South Beach. Yardbird offers famous menu options including chicken and waffles and their acclaimed ‘best of Miami’ bloody Mary’s. The Yardbird menu and atmosphere is the epitome of Southern eats and Southern charm, known for its soul food and freshly baked biscuits as well as its trendy atmosphere. The cocktail and bourbon menu seems unending. Miami Beach is often compared to New York City on the sand and Yardbird will show you Miami’s true southern identity.

The Restaurant at the Raleigh Dining

The Restaurant at the Raleigh Hotel serves one of Miami’s finest brunches. Started by Michael Schwartz, the notorious King of Brunch, with a menu inspired by Chef Jose Icardi, your Sunday morning cannot go wrong. The hotel offers brunch in their indoor dining area or on the baroque poolside deck. Servers are friendly and professional and the menu never fails to please. There’s also DIY bloody Mary bar is available if you’re feeling exceptionally creative and spicy.

The Setai

The Setai is a boutique hotel on the beach. The hotel was built in the 1930s and has a Sunday Jazz buffet brunch to match its era. The Sunday brunch fame comes from the live entertainment and the globally inspired menu that ranges from Asian Cuisine to a raw bar to brick oven pizza. The flow of champagne and bloody Mary’s is endless and brunch lasts until 3:00 pm, just in time for a lazy stroll to the beach located a few yards away.

Blue Collar

Blue Collar is a small restaurant located on Biscayne Boulevard lauded for its friendly staff and casual atmosphere. Blue Collar launched as a local favorite but has managed to capture the attention of tourists as well. Chef and owner Daniel Serfer prides himself in offering an inclusive atmosphere and delicious comfort foods. The brunch menu has offerings from ‘eggy stuff to ‘syrupy stuff” and is wonderfully unpretentious, attracting foodies from afar eager to wait in line for the Blue Collar experience. Don’t leave without trying the duck ‘McMuffin’ or saying hello to the chef himself.

Oliver’s Bistro

For a chic meal on the beach, Nikki Beach is your spot. There are beds to lounge on while sipping your champagne and the crowd never ceases to impress. For the South Beach Miami atmosphere, Nikki Beach is your place. The brunch has cuisines ranging from sushi (rolled and prepared at the live action stations as you wait) and rotisserie as well as a broad dessert menu.
