Bollywood is one of the largest film producers in India, and its movies are popular among both South Asians and non-South Asians residing in the Los Angeles, California area. Fortunately, fans do not have to rely solely on Netflix for their Bollywood fix, as these select LA theatres play recent Hindi film releases.

Cinemark 18 & XD

The Cinemark 18 & XD theatre is owned by Cinemark Holdings, Inc. and is located in The Promenade at Howard Hughes Center, an outdoor mall in LA. It is a two-story venue with a very modern look. Besides comfortable seating, the theatre also offers a full service restaurant called Studio Eats, making it convenient for moviegoers to avoid watching a late-night show on an empty stomach. Ticket prices vary from $5 to $15; however, tickets are discounted to $6 all day, every Tuesday. The mall includes a parking garage, which charges a maximum daily rate of $9 and $8 for valet.

AMC Burbank Town Center 8

Burbank is a city in the San Fernando Valley and has three separate AMC theatres located within close proximity of each other. The AMC Burbank Town Center 8, which is located on the third level of the indoor mall called Burbank Town Center, showcases Bollywood films. This is a smaller theatre, with ticket prices ranging from $6 to $13. Customers can easily find free parking at the multiple parking garages near the Burbank Town Center.

Laemmle’s Town Center 5

An affluent neighborhood in the Valley, Encino is home to Laemmle’s Town Center 5, a theatre located in the Encino Town Center. One of seven locations owned by Laemmle Theatres, a group of family-run cinemas, this cozy venue showcases independent, foreign and art films. Ticket prices normally range from $5 to $12; however, Hindi film tickets are priced at $10. Free outdoor and underground parking is conveniently available for customers.

Edwards Cerritos Stadium 10

Located in Cerritos, Edwards Cerritos Stadium 10, which is part of the Regal Entertainment Group, supplements the entertainment options in the Cerritos Towne Center. This cinema is clean and colorful. Ticket prices range from $9 to $12, except on Tuesdays, when tickets can be purchased for only $6 all day. Plenty of free outdoor parking is available.

Movie Theater

Located in the Norwalk Entertainment Center, AMC Norwalk 20 also plays Hindi films. This cinema offers stadium seating and sells tickets ranging from $6 to $12.
