The Sherman Oaks Galleria would probably be considered the most notable place in Sherman Oaks. The Galleria is a great place to meet friends, hang out, and take advantage of all the stores and activities that it has to offer.

Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park
Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Park is an amazing park that people really enjoy. The park offers ample space to work on your fitness with everything from running the track to playing basketball to tennis to soccer to softball and much more. You can even enjoy a nice swim in the rec center pool. You can also come to the park with your children and enjoy hanging out, playing on the equipment and setting up a picnic. Many people host birthdays or baby showers here as well. It is a large area that is great for the community to come and enjoy.

On Tuesdays in the parking lot of the Fashion Square mall from 3 PM-7 PM, you can visit the Farmers’ Market with vendors from nearby. You will find these purveyors selling local produce, fresh eggs, meats, desserts, etc. This is great if you enjoy buying local and straight from the farms. You can’t go wrong with a farmers’ market, so come hungry and eat fresh.

Games – Castle Park, Laser Tag and Billiards
If you are in the mood for a little competition, you can find it at some of the local gaming spots. At Castle Park, you can have a fun round of mini golf where you can practice your putting and challenge your friends for that hole in one. Ultrazone Lazer Tag is a great place for a group of friends to get together and compete to find out who is the most stealth in the battlezone.
