Foxy’s Restaurant

Foxy’s Restaurant is a beloved Glendale restaurant for locals, with a warm interior, complete with a fireplace for the colder days, and a lovely patio for dining al fresco when it is warm. The breakfast menu features items such as the crab cake benedict served with crispy hash browns, while lunch and dinner options include salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrées of a variety of international flavors.

La Cabañita

Run by Mexican husband-wife duo Francisco and Patricia Jimenez, La Cabañita is a friendly, lively restaurant serving zesty cuisine brimming with Mexican flavors. Filled with family recipes, the menu has numerous enticing options from combination plates, such as the vegetarian taco and tostada and the albondigas en chipotle, meatballs filled with hardboiled eggs in a spicy sauce. Wash down with beer or one of the great margaritas.

Porto’s Bakery

Porto’s Bakery is a family-owned and operated bakery and café serving sweet and savory Cuban delights and very popular with locals. The signature Refugiado, a pastry filled with guava and cheese, and the coconut strudel are definite must-trys. For savory options, the menu offers a variety of sandwiches for lunch, including the Cubano, along with soup and salads.

Raffi’s Place

Raffi’s Place specializes in authentic Mediterranean and Persian cuisine. In addition to indoor seating, there is also a lovely outdoor space, making this gourmet-dining venue great for both small and large parties. Some delicious options from the menu include the shish kabobs, skewers of filet mignon, bell pepper, and onion, and the gheimeh bademjan, a stew of beef, split peas, fried onion, and eggplant with a side of rice.

Sipan Bakery

Sipan Bakery is a family-owned and operated bakery and café serving Middle Eastern delights and particularly specializes in Armenian cuisine. Highlights from the menu include a variety of beorks (similar to a pie) make with everything from spicy cheese and green olives to meat, Or try the Glendale mashrooha, which is unleavened bread with cheese and soujouk meat, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, fresh mint, and olives.
