Fosselman's Ice Cream Company

For a sweet treat on a sunny California day, stop by Fosselman’s Ice Cream Company. This family-owned, historical institution has been serving the Alhambra community since 1919 and offers a large selection of ice cream, sorbets, sherbets, and frozen yogurt with over 40 flavors. From traditional flavors to more exotic ones, such as lychee and coconut basil, all ice cream is hand-made, using the finest ingredients and no preservatives.

Rutsu 18

Rutsu 18 combines traditional Japanese cuisine with artisan flavors to create something new, yet familiar. The pan-Asian dishes served are representative of the many vibrant cultures in Alhambra. This restaurant offers a varied menu, including a good selection of sushi, noodles and rice bowls. Several of the menu items would not traditionally be offered in the same restaurant but Rutsu 18 makes it easy for everyone by having it all. The walls are covered in murals and pop-art which add to the enjoyment of this unusual dining experience.

Ohana Brewing Company Alhambra Tasting Room

The Ohana Brewing Company Alhambra Tasting Room is a beer restaurant, run by a craft brewery that strives to create unique and flavorful beers that put them a step above the competition. Only a couple of years old, the Ohana Brewing Company has established itself as part of the Alhambra community with the opening of its Alhambra Tasting Room. This unique spot offers a menu of samples of their local handcrafted beers. Visitors can try up to four 4-ounce tasters or opt for the larger takeaway cup fills.

Gen Korean BBQ House

At Gen Korean BBQ House guests order freshly prepared meats, vegetables and seafood from the friendly wait staff and then are able to watch it sizzle and grill right at their table. This unique cooking technique allows visitors to have an active role in the preparation of their meal. This elegant restaurant serves a variety of traditional Korean options such as spicy pork belly and premium beef tongue. The less-adventurous eaters will also find plenty of options on the menu, and there are also some good vegetarian options too.

Lunasia Chinese Cuisine

Lunasia Chinese Cuisine is dedicated to providing affordable, authentic Chinese cuisine to Alhambra. In addition to offering traditional Chinese dishes with great flavors and fresh seafood dishes, Lunasia specializes in dim sum, bite-sized nibbles served with delicate Chinese tea.

Grill 'Em All Burgers

Degrees Ale House & Grill

Alhambra has a taste for craft beers and you’ll find them at 38 Degrees Ale House & Grill. With 38 beers on tap, everyone will be sure to find something to tickle their taste buds no matter what their preference. 38 Degrees Ale House & Grill also offers a wide array of food options to pair with a pint. The menu includes options such as the roasted duck and waffles, vegan crispy tofu, the wonderfully named forbidden rice, and pork-cheek sandwich.

Twohey's Restaurant

This fun, family-friendly restaurant is known for its award-winning bittersweet hot fudge sundaes and the ‘Stinko’ burger, which is topped only with pickles and onions. Opened in 1943, Twohey’s Restaurant has established itself as one of the best in the San Gabriel Valley.
