Toad In the Hole Pub is one of the few places in Santa Rosa that can do British style pub food justice. They have superb fish and chips, and homey food such as Shepherd’s pie and mashed potatoes. Their beer list includes all the local favorites and they sometimes have some great cider to choose from as well. The staff work hard to always keep your glass full, no matter how busy they might get. Be sure to stop by for their happy hour everyday from 3pm to 6 pm.

Located on 4th Street, Belly Left Coast Kitchen and Taproom is right in Santa Rosa’s hub, and is an ideal place to stop at for lunch. They have outdoor seating that’s dog friendly, and have plenty of televisions in order to watch any game that might be on. They also have a long and diverse beer and wine list, and most options on there come from the Pacific States.

For sports fans, Ausiello’s 5th Street Grill is a go-to venue. This sports bar is the best location to catch a game. Just down the street from Tex Wasabi’s is Russian River, a local brewery that is a regular spot for most locals. They host live bands and have a full menu as well as an ever-growing selection of beer. If it’s your first time visiting, it’s recommended you go for the beer sampler. They can get busy fast, but that does not stop them from making sure everyone is satisfied with their experience.

Third Street Aleworks are best known for their trivia nights and the Tuesday ‘$2.50 beer and brats’ special. There are plenty of televisions around for sports-lovers, and the laid-back atmosphere makes it a ideal spot to go to with friends to catch a game. They have an amazing happy hour, and their sliders are worth a try too. There’s also plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors, and a pool table upstairs.

Located in the middle of Santa Rosa, Fogbelt Brewing Company is almost hidden. Their beers steal the show, and they offer a sampler for first time visitors. Each beer is named after a Coast Redwood tree, so they’re easy to remember. It can get crowded in the evening, especially on their Trivia nights, but the servers make sure to keep all their customers happy.
