Northrock Lanes

Northrock Lanes is the go to neighborhood bowling alley of Wichita, Kansas. Families will love the family package — for $45, you’ll have access to one lane for 90 minutes and shoe rentals for up to six people. North rock is also home to many bowling leagues and tournaments. If you’re looking to get more serious about bowling, Northrock is the place to start.

West Acres Bowling Center

West Acres Bowling Alley is the best place to go bowling if you’ve never gone before. For kids, there are great programs to teach the basics of bowling in a friendly and safe environment. For the older folks there’s Cosmic Bowling, a night time neon light show starts around 11:30pm on weekends and makes bowling a lot funkier. Also, West Acres has a modest sports bar serving cold beer and pub fare.

3. Seneca Bowl

Seneca Bowl

Seneca Bowl has one main draw, and that is the price. It may not have the frills and the amenities of more modern bowling alleys, but $2.50 a person means you won’t be missing the fancy shoes and the gourmet snack bar. Professional bowling lessons are available if you’re looking for a way to better your bowling game.

The Alley Indoor Entertainment

The Alley is much more than a bowling alley — it’s a multifaceted entertainment complex. Inside, there is a full sized Go Kart track as well as a laser maze. For adults, there’s the Back Alley, a lively sports bar with great food. The bowling itself is on par with the rest of these fine alleys, but plan on spending more time and money at the Alley due to its many fun options.

5. Derby Bowl

Derby Bowl

Derby Bowl is another mainstay alley of the Wichita area, though it’s bit outside of Wichita in a town called Derby. If you like youth bowling leagues and huge arcades then it’s probably worth the trip. The alley is fairly new, and the Bowling Pro Shop has a wonderful selection of balls, shoes, and gloves should you want to take your game to the next level.
