This is the Best Package Deal to Book in Mexico
Dreaming of a holiday in Mexico but not sure where to start? We have the perfectly packaged trip ready for you.
Booking a vacation package can be the best way to experience a destination. Forget hours shopping around, booking activities and public transport, as well as accommodation. There’s no need to feel like your group’s volunteer tour guide as you haphazardly navigate a place you’ve never been and an itinerary you’re unsure about.
At Culture Trip we’ve carefully curated a catalogue of authentic small-group adventures that take the stress of organisation firmly out of your hands. Unlike most package holidays, our tours are designed to immerse you in a destination, showing you the real communities of a place. We show you the natural beauty spots other tour providers don’t even know about, and our Local Insiders are not only armed with a lifetime of cultural insights, but also top tips on the best food joints, sunset viewing points and morning coffee spots.
Most people think of package vacations in Mexico as a beach retreat where you barely leave the confines of your all-inclusive hotel, but travellers looking for something with a little more substance shouldn’t have to plan everything out themselves, either. Having a pre-booked itinerary to explore Mexico’s many cultural offerings means that you can save the hassle, just like with an all-inclusive, but still get a taste of authentic Mexico.
This is where our friendly local guides really come into play as well. Mexico’s cities are so vast and vibrant that navigating them can be maze-like, and good recommendations – be it the best taco joint in town or the best mescal cocktail you’ve ever tasted – will totally transform your experience.
Express Mexico City
If you’re looking for an immersive cultural getaway than gives you the chance to get a genuine glimpse of real Mexico, then our five-day trip in the capital is made for you.
We’ll embrace ancient history and modern traditions in equal measure, not to mention diving head first into the city’s world-beating culinary scene. We’ll get the tastebuds tingling immediately upon arrival, as we head for a hot chocolate from the famed Cafe de Tacuba, followed by a group dinner at a beloved local eatery.
Our first full day will help you get a grip of this vast and densely populated city, starting at the hilltop Museo Nacional de Historia, the perfect place to contextualise the city. Then its down to Monumento a la Revolución, followed by some well-earned grub at Mercado de San Juan, one of the city’s man extraordinary street food markets. Filled up on tacos and a cerveza, we’ll head up the city’s most iconic skyscraper, Torre Latinoamericana, to drink in incredible bird’s eye views of the city.
On the next day we’ll whisk you out of the modern metropolis and into the ancient pre-Columbian city of Teotihuacán, home to some of the most remarkable Aztec pyramids on Earth. After exploring the otherworldly area and its museum, you’ll get to sample an ancient Mexican liquor at a local producer. Not tequila, not mescal, but pulque.
On our final morning we head to Xochimilco floating gardens, to kayak as the sun rises over the Aztec canals. In the afternoon we’ll go souvenir shopping in Mercado de la Artesanías Ciudadela and sample delicious local pastries at Pastelería Ideal, before spending our final evening in style – by watching a lucha libre wrestling match. Tequilas all around!
Flights are not included in the price – although our friendly customer service team can help you find the best deals – but your booking does include four nights boutique hotel accommodation, daily breakfasts and one dinner, as well as all mentioned activities and local private transport. Not to mention our Local Insider, who will constantly be on hand to ensure you have the ultimate Mexico City experience.
