Fusion Gourmet doesn’t offer a specific brunch menu, but it does have an excellent if slightly limited breakfast menu that can be enjoyed all day. The restaurant is hidden away in a tranquil spot, and the surrounding area is quiet making dining here a peaceful experience in comparison to many places in Vallarta, and you can get your day off to a great start here before exploring other neighborhoods. Aside from the location, the service is attentive and the prices are extremely reasonable.

Featuring an eclectic mix of options ranging from the standard eggs and pancakes to stuffed French toast and chile relleno omelettes, the menu is truly a treat which will get your day off to the right start. When you enter, you’ll be welcomed by Coco’s daughter and invited to take a seat in the lovely garden, which just adds to the relaxed and refreshing atmosphere of this familial brunch spot.

Fredy's Tucan

Another excellent option in Puerto Vallarta for a relaxing brunchwhere the breakfast dishes come highly recommended. Fredy’s Tucan offers all the classics, pancakes, chilaquiles, huevos al gusto, plus many more. As soon as you enter, attentive wait staff offer coffee and freshly baked breads and muffins, and the wait time for food is incredibly short for such a busy place. Be sure to take cash however, as they don’t accept cards.

La Estancia

Boutique Hotel Restaurant, Boutique Hotel Restaurant, Restaurant

The breakfast buffet at this hotel restaurant is spectacular and offers all the juices under the sun. Try out the quesadillas, or if that strikes you as too Mexican, tuck into pancakes, waffles, or the perennial favorite, omelettes. This is a great spot if you’re not looking for anything too fancy, and instead want a reliable and affordable breakfast or brunch. Those who don’t relish the thought of a buffet can also order off the menu here, and the avocado-bacon omelette comes highly recommended. Mimosas © icantstopthinking/Flickr

Enjoy brunch on the beach at Mango’s Beach Club. Located right on the malecón, this lovely spot has understandably spectacular views of the ocean and outdoor seating which allow you to really take it all in. Their Sunday brunch menu includes a welcome mimosa on arrival, a selection of chopped tropical fruits, recently baked bread, and the choice between chilaquiles, chicharrón, and the wonderful tortas ahogadas. This place, while still offering traditionalMexican dishes, offers many options you won’t find on other brunch menus, especially not with such fantastic views. Well worth a visit.

Kubli's Café Bistro

Bistro, Cafe, Restaurant, Coffee, Contemporary, Wine, Beer, Cocktails, Fast Food

Perhaps one of the more modern, sleeker restaurants décor-wise on our list, Kubli’s Café Bistro is open all day. Stop by and take advantage of the breakfast or lunch menu, as the food here is delicious. We recommend trying the eggs Benedict and eating outside on the quaint patio. The coffee here is absolutely delightful too, so if you’ve had a heavy night perhaps avoid the hair-of-the-dog, champagne-serving spots and head to Kubli’s instead for a pick-me-up cuppa.
