One of the biggest influencers in Mexico, Pam Allier is an accomplished fashion and lifestyle blogger who’s both a native and resident of Mexico City. She only established her eponymous blog back in 2014, off the back of her massive Instagram following, and has since gone from strength to strength. Alongside her reputation as one of the top Latinas on Instagram (she has a whopping 385 thousand followers), Allier is also a fashion designer and Harper’s Bazaar contributor whose blog is both beauty and fashion focused.

Priscila Arias (La Fatshionista)

Recently featured, alongside a handful of other fashion bloggers on this list, in a Buzzfeed article about curvy bloggers, Priscila Arias is the confident 20-something behind the La Fatshionista blog. Previously a publicist by profession, she’s now a blogger and make-up artist, so expect to see some amazing beauty looks and recommendations alongside her fabulous fashion pieces on La Fatshionista. For curvy and non-curvy women everywhere, if you’re lacking confidence in your look La Fatshionista blog might just be the place to turn.

Fer Medina (The Fashion State)

Fer Medina is arguably one of Mexico’s biggest fashion blogger exports, known around the globe for her website The Fashion State. Originally from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, she’s based in Mexico City and her blog mainly focuses on her own sometimes quirky, sometimes street-style and always inventive and well put together looks, often in front of spectacular backdrops. All it takes is a quick browse of her travel-related posts to conjure up some insane wanderlust (and fashion envy!), which will have you buying plane tickets before you know it.

Gaby Gómez (Moda Capital)

Another of Mexico’s biggest fashion bloggers, with a global following, is the Veracruz-native Gaby Gómez, who’s made her name on the Mexico City fashion scene. Street style was Gomez’s original focus when she first started, but she’s now branched into more diverse areas and, as with Fer Medina, has a heavy focus on travel on her blog Moda Capital. However, what sets Gaby apart from the crowd is her constant reaffirmation that money does not a fashionista make, instead preferring to show off affordable looks.

Gabilú Mireles (Fat Gab)

Another of the curvy Mexican fashion bloggers profiled by Buzzfeed in recent months, Tamaulipas-born and Mexico City based Gabilú Mireles (a.k.a. Fat Gab) is a breath of fresh air on the blogging scene. Self-professed food and Instagram enthusiast, she says that learning to love her curves (muffin top and all!) was what led her to ultimately embracing her style. All we can say is thank god she did, because if not, we wouldn’t have her one-year-old blog Fat Gab to browse for curvy-girl fashion inspiration.

Sofía Lascurain (My Philosophie)

Founded in late 2010, My Philosophie – the blog of Guadalajara-born, bilingual fashion fan Sofía Lascurain – has grown into the accomplished website we see today. With My Philosophie covering everything from fashion news, to looks and personal stories, it’s easy to understand why the woman behind it all is one of the most famous and (virtually) followed in Mexico. Aside from her blog, she regularly partners with international brands and has even been featured in Elle and Vogue.

Arhe Molina (Yo, Curvilínea)

Chilanga, PR woman and pole-fitness fanatic Arhe Molina is the blogger behind Yo, Curvilínea, a curvy girl blog that celebrates all things fashion. Since starting in 2014, Yo, Curvilínea has grown exponentially, especially in the past year, and Molina is now one of the most well-known curvy bloggers within Mexico City fashion circles. Raising her son without the self-consciousness that defined her childhood, Molina is certainly one to watch in coming years, as her influence is sure to spread beyond Mexico.

Gina Ortega (High on Fashion)

High on Fashion is the blog of Mexico City-based Gina Ortega, a social media influencer and well-known stylist with a thing for great shoes. In fact, she even launched her own footwear line a few years ago. Having worked with numerous big publications like GQ and Quién, Ortega’s beauty and fashion blog remains, arguably, that for which she is best known, alongside her stylist prowess. If you want more of her work outside of High on Fashion, check out her (Spanish-language) pieces in Entrepreneur.

Ari Camacho (The Double Denim)

Finally, we round off our guide to the best fashion bloggers from or based in Mexico City, with one chilanga previously based outside the country; although she’s currently to be found in Mexico City, Ari Camacho of The Double Denim used to live in New York which perhaps explains her experimental, fearless style. Camacho’s blog has recently had a makeover and now includes male fashion, life and style pieces and a generally more coherent editorial vision, which surely makes it stand out from the rest.
