3. Good Life Deli

Restaurant, Canadian

One of the most extensive breakfast menus in the city belongs to Good Life Deli. This Hamilton neighborhood favorite has a huge range of all-day dishes available, ranging from classic two egg breakfasts to frittatas, benedicts and plenty of sweet options. 90s kids and cartoon enthusiasts alike will love the ‘Flintstones’ themed Bedrock Bistro. Truly unique amongst Hamilton’s other brunch offerings, this place features plenty of nods to the iconic show, as well as playing old episodes on loop on their TV screens. Its not all novelty value however, as their all-day breakfast offerings are mighty tasty too.

5. Papa Leo’s Restaurant

Restaurant, Canadian, Vegetarian, Vegan, Salad Bar

Papa Leo’s focuses its popular dining experience on fresh ingredients, local roasted coffee and a welcoming atmosphere that will make you feel right at home. On the breakfast menu you’ll find all your traditional choices, as well as more creative options like the ‘uptown crab cake benny’ and ‘sourdough French toast.’ The inside is tiny and brunch here is popular so be prepared for a short wait if you arrive during peak times.

6. The West Town Bar & Grill

Bar, Canadian, Pub Grub, Wine, Beer, Fast Food

A staple on the brunch scene for over 20 years, the West Town Bar & Grill is most famous as a steakhouse and beer watering hole. Less well-known, however, is their excellent breakfast, served until 11.30am Monday to Friday and until 2pm on weekends. The menu is relatively typical, featuring pancakes, waffles and french toast, but the atmosphere is great, with attentive, friendly service.
