Started in the early 1900s as a cart and horse operation, Billingsgate is the largest continually owned and operated family business not only in Calgary but in all of Canada. The restaurant is a fairly new addition to the business.. The Billingsgate Restaurant offers Great Grandpa Bertie’s secret fish and chips recipe, Great Grandma Marg’s famous chowders and soups, crabs, lobster, and oysters.
