The View from the Top of the Burj Khalifa

Out of all the beautiful places in the UAE, this is unparalleled: it’s the highest viewpoint in the world! From At The Top the view encompasses almost the whole of Dubai. The massive skyscrapers appear tiny from up there. From sea to desert, from old Dubai to the new neighborhoods, everything can be seen from the 148th floor of this building. This is definitely the most incredible spot in town to watch the sunset from.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

This magnificent mosque in Abu Dhabi is a sight to behold. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the largest in the world, and has white marble walls and floors, as well as intricate wall details made from colorful stones. From floor to ceiling, every corner of this mosque was built to impress, with the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet and crystal chandeliers throughout.

Dubai Miracle Garden

Flowers and greenery might not be the first things that come to mind when one thinks of the UAE. However at the Dubai Miracle Garden, landscaping has been taken to a whole new level. The family-friendly place consists of unending gardens with sculptures made out of flowers. It lives up to its name, as it takes a miracle to keep such colorful vegetation alive in the desert. The garden has even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records, with the largest flower arrangement in the shape of the Airbus A380.

Hatta

Just a little over an hour’s drive from Dubai, visitors will be amazed by the natural beauty of Hatta. The drive out there is impressive enough on its own, with massive desert mountains spread along the way. Hatta is the ideal location to hike, bike, camp and see a sky full of stars — the latter a rare opportunity in Dubai due to the light pollution of the city. The most impressive scenery of all can be seen at the Hatta Dam, where turquoise waters calmly rest between the mountains. This is definitely the most beautiful natural spot in the country.

Snoopy Island

This island located in the Emirate of Fujairah. It unusual name comes from the fact that some believe the island looks like Snoopy lying down. Fujairah is the only Emirate on the east coast of the country, and it’s where mountains and sea meet, creating some of the most astonishing views in the UAE. On the drive to Fujairah, enjoy the sight of tall mountains, and upon arriving, head to the beach to see Snoopy resting in the middle of the sea. This is also the perfect place to snorkel.
