1. Beach Hut Café

Among the many reasons Beach Hut Café is popular with locals are the amazing panoramic views across Swansea Bay. There are plenty of original features and a real traditional British beach holiday vibe. The café does breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they even have their own ice cream parlour.

2. Square Peg Coffee House

Square Peg is a lovely and cosy non-profit venture (the profits benefit local charities) that does a really good cup of coffee. They serve good-quality, wholesome food, and those who are vegan or gluten-free have praised their flexibility.

You’ll find a shabby-chic interior, an elaborate afternoon tea and a delicious array of cakes at No6hundred. Plus, they know how to do a good cuppa.

4. Gershwins Coffee House

This family-run business serves tasty traditional food. You’ll find Gershwins next to the largest indoor market in the country, where they find the fresh produce used in all of their home-cooked dishes.

5. Coast Café
