According to Which? magazine’s annual hotel survey, the firm came bottom for the fourth year running with a score of 44%. Customers said its properties were ‘ancient’, ‘very basic’ and ‘in need of updating’. Yet despite all this, the firm, which also owns Pontins holiday camp, has just doubled its profits for 2016.
